PR & OUTREACH MANAGER (part time contractor for TLAG)

We are looking for a persuasive writing wizard and outreach God who understands how gymnastics and functional training applies to general health and fitness and has established media contacts. Our PR & Outreach Manager ideally is excellent at spelling and grammar, is extremely efficient, speaks from the tone of Danielle and Train Like A Gymnast on their behalf, and has incredible attention to detail to avoid errors. Responsibilities will include researching publications, podcasts, news outlets, influencers, and more related to Danielle and TLAG’s missions as well as taking initiative to write and send targeted press releases and emailing specific decision-makers concepts and ideas for features, segments, and interviews. Follow up and a never-give-up, “no isn’t no until it’s a no” mindset is crucial. Time commitment varies based on efficiency and speed of contractor and depends on timing of launches, events, and success rate achieving media placements.


SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNITY MANAGER
(part time contractor, virtual)

We are looking for a social butterfly who loves all things gymnastics who is experienced with customer service, being on top of up and coming social media trends, replying to DMs, creating graphics, aggregating user-generated content, doing hashtag research, copywriting, and repurposing/editing assets and interviews to publish as sharable content on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. Ideally this individual understands social media marketing, consumer behavior, public relations, and human psychology. Our social media manager must be able to create a social calendar outline, batch and post consistent content, provide ideas for Danielle to shoot, and strive to create a healthy, honest, inspirational platform for our community. Time commitment varies, but approximately 7-10 hours per week.


SMALL GROUP LEADER (volunteer, all cities)

We are looking for members of our #TLAGTeam Ambassador program who are certified trainers or instructors to organize scheduled small group meet ups in their area at local parks, organize group outings and workouts, and create an in-person community and bond through a common love of gymnastics. Our small group leaders are ideally socially outgoing, love gymnastics, understand movement and psychology, are extremely organized, and are experienced with Eventbrite, advertising, and social media marketing. Our small group leaders must be able to do their own research about permits, group size, noise restrictions, and be able to create and maintain relationships with local venues. Time commitment varies, but approximately 2-5 hours per month.


GUEST BLOG CONTRIBUTOR

We are always looking for more talented writers to contribute relevant, relatable, and emotionally compelling content for our blog. As a contributor, you’ll write from the voice of the Train Like A Gymnast Team and represent our brand via our online publication, trainlikeagymnast.com. We’re currently looking for entry-level writers who can write engaging and grammatically correct medium to long-form listicles and articles with minimal revisions needed.
