Okay hear me out… I know New Year Resolutions can be quite cliché, but let’s shift the typical “resolution” to a “goal” and see just how much value you can pack into the opportunity the New Year holds.

The beauty of goals is that they give us structure and purpose having something to work toward. Now you might be thinking that’s great… but you have no idea where to start?! No worries, that’s where TLAG comes in!

How to Start Goal Setting

Goals help us start feeling like ourselves again! With the motivation to achieve our best self, we are able to function more purposefully, feel stronger physically, mentally and emotionally and in turn, step into our most confident selves.

Step 1:

Think on this with me for a minute… what does your best self look like?

  • What do you do when they first wake up in the morning?

  • What do you enjoy doing on a daily basis?

  • What do you say to yourself when you look in the mirror?

  • What do you feel about yourself?

  • What do you do to celebrate your wins?

Step 2:

Think with me again for a minute… this time you may want to take out some paper and a pen. What steps do you need to make to get to your best self?

  • What is your ultimate goal?

  • What career achievements excite you?

  • What health milestones fuel your soul?

  • What fitness dreams thrill you?

Step 3:

Okay those goals sound awesome! Now what can you do today to get there?

  • What do you need to do each month to make that happen?

  • What do you need to do each week to make that happen?

  • What do you need to do each day to make that happen?

Now go do it… We are rooting for you and we know YOU GOT THIS!

And for those of you are already subscribed to the app and inside of our community, these are our best pieces of advice for you to reach your goals successfully, notice considerable change, and have the best experience getting the most bang for your buck.

  1. Follow the Nutritional Guidelines under the Insights tab. Ask if you have any questions!

  2. Schedule workouts ahead of time to get reminders, block out time in your calendar, and tell 1 person your plan for accountability to stay on track! How-to video here

  3. On days where you fall off the wagon, plan to do a quick workout, meditate or stretch

  4. Participate in the Facebook Group to meet buddies (link at bottom of in Insights tab)

  5. Ask for what you want! Provide feedback so we can deliver! This is for YOU.
